Our campuses

We have two Sunderland campuses – City Campus and the Sir Tom Cowie Campus at St Peter's.

As its name suggests, City Campus is in the heart of the city centre and is just a five minute walk away from shops, bars, and restaurants. Its home to art, design, performance, healthcare, and sciences courses. You'll also find our main support and wellbeing services, and sports and fitness facilities at CitySpace here.

The Sir Tom Cowie Campus at St Peter's benefits from a stunning riverside location. It's within easy reach of both the city centre and our glorious beaches, and is a 20 minute walk from City Campus. You'll find art, design, film, media, computer science, engineering, business, law, and tourism courses here.

Both campuses have two fully equipped libraries available, stocked with all the resources you'll need. There's also plenty of options for eating and drinking, whether you're sitting down to lunch between classes, or grabbing a coffee for a catch up with friends.

We're proud of our safe and inclusive campus environment. Our free campus bus provides you with safe and reliable transport between both campuses and our student accommodation. And our Campus Security team are available to contact 24/7, should you need their support.
