How to apply

You should check if your home university is on Our Exchange Partner Institutions list. We have an exchange agreement with each of our exchange partners that enables you to apply to study at the University of Sunderland for one or two semesters. You should check with your International Office to find out more about how to apply.

You should check if your home university is one of our Exchange Partners. If we do not currently have an exchange agreement in place, you can still study at Sunderland by applying for the Study Abroad Programme. The Study Abroad Programme works in exactly the same way as the exchange programme the only difference is there is no tuition fee waiver.

You will need to complete a University of Sunderland Study Abroad and Exchange Application Form. You can download the full PDF version of the Study Abroad Pack here:

Or email us and we will send you a full Study Abroad Pack.
