To study for a University of Sunderland degree you need to meet the course entry requirements.

The University of Sunderland teaches foundation, undergraduate, postgraduate and top-up courses. Each course has its own page and the academic entry requirements are clearly listed on each page.

If English is not your first language, you must meet the minimum English language requirements to be offered a place on any course.

If a course has specific English language requirements, such as MSc Nursing or MA Journalism, they will be clearly stated on the course page.

If you don’t have the required English language skills, we offer four English for Academic Purposes (EAP) University pre-sessional courses to help you achieve the required standard.
