Programme Leader in Magazine Journalism

I am Programme Leader for Magazine Journalism and also teach modules in fashion and news journalism. I previously worked as a journalist for regional publications such as The Northern Echo, The Chronicle, Journal and Sunday Sun before launching a glossy lifestyle magazine. I have worked in a variety of roles including Magazine Editor, Senior Features Writer, Fashion and Beauty Editor, Regional News Reporter and Investigations and Crown Court Reporter.

Teaching and supervision

I teach modules in fashion journalism, news and magazine journalism covering subjects such as fashion history, fashion styling, magazine practice and news writing.
