Lecturer in eSports Event Management
I am an IT professional. I have worked for a major airline and mobile telephony providers giving me a wealth of experience in operations management, aeronautical and mobile networks, and crisis management.
I am also a lifelong gamer, I was the doom slayer, the first Heretic, I was the “Freeman” I have defended the lands of Azeroth from the hoard.
My areas of interest are Kendo and Iaijutsu, along with Japanese history and culture and cuisine, storage tiering, networking, system hardware.
So if you want to nerd out on games, PC building, custom loops and cooling, or discuss the finer points of the effects of neo-Confucianism on bushido I’m your guy.
Teaching and supervision
I currently teach Fundamentals of Esports Events and Esports Event Production and Delivery modules on BSc(Hons) eSports Event management.
