Student Financial Guidance
We are the University's expert financial guidance team, providing support and guidance on a wide range of financial issues.
Our service is free, confidential and non-judgemental. We help both current and prospective students – so we're here to help you before you even apply to university and throughout your time here.
Money matters
Managing your money while being a student can be difficult, especially as your student finance payments are made once per term. If you think you might need support with your budgeting, please get in touch with us and we'll be able to offer you some practical advice and guidance on your next steps.
We have designed and released a student-specific budgeting app – PANDA – that will help you keep track of your spending.
Who do we support?
Our service is available to:
- Current students
- Prospective students
- Full-time students
- Part-time students
- Undergraduate students
- Postgraduate students
- On or off-campus students, including those who study at partner colleges

Student Support Fund
Worried about finding yourself in financial hardship while you are studying? Don't worry – our Student Support Fund Team can help.
This team helps current students who, despite having funding in place at the start of their course, find themselves struggling financially during the academic year – perhaps due to a change in circumstances. The team administers applications for our Student Support Fund – the University's hardship fund.
