I chose Sunderland because it offered me the chance to study hospitality and tourism as one course. I also received a scholarship which has made a huge difference to my university experience.

I most enjoy learning about professional development, as well as hospitality management and I have improved my language skills while studying. My advice to prospective students is not to be worried about studying at the University of Sunderland as the lecturers are supportive and always happy to help if it gets difficult. 

After graduating I am hoping to work in an airport. Studying at the University of Sunderland has opened the gate to new opportunities for me - I would definitely recommend it to other students."
