eAssessment, or, electronic assessment, digital assessment, online assessment, refers to the broad range of tools which are available to support electronic assessment, feedback and marking. Canvas already has assignment and quiz tools, including integration with Turnitin, but the CELT are currently leading a University endeavour to make all assignments digital. Part of this work will include evaluation of alternatives to the EDPAC paper forms which are still used in some areas.
The objective of eAssessment is to make the entire assignment submission, feedback and marking process easier and faster, and to provide a better service for students.
This is an ongoing project and this webpage will be updated with more information as we progress.
