reView means the use of a system to record either the audio or video of a lecture for the benefit of students who wish to revise it or who are unable to attend for any reason. This can be automated or controlled by the lecturer, and it is possible for lecture recordings to be automatically added to the appropriate module space on Canvas. CELT are currently investigating the possibility of adopting a lecture capture system for the University.
reView is an often requested facility by student and can help them by allowing them to revisit lectures and to keep up with their learning should the miss a lecture for any reason.
