Note for institutions co-designing a bespoke study abroad programme, fees will vary according to final programme content.
*Please note, if you are an exchange or Erasmus student the cost of tuition fees is covered in your agreement.
The University recommends that all students studying abroad with us take out a relevant travel insurance policy. Insurance fees will vary by student and coverage level. For ISEP students, please refer to your agreement regarding insurance and necessary coverage.
Students studying for only one semester may not be able to open a UK bank account. Please ensure that you have access to your funds upon your arrival.
Accommodation
During your time studying abroad at the University of Sunderland, you will stay in one of the university’s largest halls of residence, Clanny House. Your halls will be a short walk from both the City Campus and Sir Tom Cowie Campus at St Peter’s.
There is also a free student bus between both campuses and to popular destinations in the city. Your bathroom and fully-equipped kitchen facilities will be shared but each room comes equipped with a wash basin. Laundry facilities are also onsite for your use.
**If you are an ISEP, exchange or bilateral exchange student the cost of accommodation fees is included in your agreement.
