What is a top-up course?

Top-up courses are equivalent to the final year of an undergraduate degree and allow you to 'top up' an existing qualification into a full honours degree. You may, for example, have completed a foundation degree already, which is equivalent to the first two years of a degree. In most cases, studying for just one more year will turn your existing qualification into one which will allow you to apply for graduate-level roles.

Flexible learning

At Sunderland, we embrace technology that makes life easier for students. Our virtual learning environment will give you easy access to an extensive range of online course material and rich multimedia content, giving you the flexibility to engage with your programme at a time that fits your lifestyle, via a device of your choice.
