Kendrick Lim

MBA Master of Business Administration

Kendrick Lim credits his time at the University of Sunderland as a great new chapter in his life. He found that he benefitted greatly from speaking to other students on his course and sharing knowledge of business culture and practices in different countries.

Studying at the University of Sunderland has been a great new chapter in my life. Its rapidly-improving worldwide reputation and ranking have been a major factor behind my decision to study here, and these were justified right in front of my eyes as soon as I arrived here.

The MBA course particularly has been nothing short of incredible. Just by mingling around with my course mates, I have benefited greatly from their sharing of the culture and work experience in their respective countries.

The helpful and knowledgeable lecturers also make my studying experience here fantastic. The classes are structured in a way that encourages students’ participation and the lecturers are always able to facilitate students’ critical thinking, making the classes alive with students exchanging views and sharing experience during discussions and debates.

MBA students enjoy the privilege of going on a field trip to Munich at a subsidised rate. The visits to world-known companies like BMW and Audi in Munich are of great benefit to all participants and give us a whole new valuable experience. Other than this, we also visited companies like Nissan, Sage and John Lewis, which are great opportunities that might not come by very often in other universities.

I would strongly recommend the University of Sunderland. I cannot speak highly enough about how wonderful this University, and particularly the MBA course, is. This course is certainly not just about the one year we spend studying here, but the lifelong changes that can happen to us which will equip us to be shining stars in the working field once we graduate."
