Overview

Have you ever wondered about the menopause and perimenopause? Is HRT dangerous? This workshop has been designed around NICE guidelines and provides an evidence-based look at making a diagnosis without a blood test. You will look at what symptoms are normal, and how to perform a HRT check. This is open to nurses in primary care, and gives useful tips to improve your practice and on keeping your patients safe.

There are nearly 9,000 journal titles, mostly in electronic format.

Facilities

This course is based in the Sciences Complex at our City Campus, which boasts excellent facilities and cutting-edge equipment thanks to multi-million-pound investments.

Our Clinical Skills Suite is equipped with a range of clinical equipment for training health professionals. The cutting-edge equipment is backed up with excellent IT facilities and helpful IT support staff.

 

Entry requirements

Applicants must be a practice nurse or nurse practitioner working in primary care.

Fees and finance

The fee for this course is £75. Funded places are available through Health Education England.
